Leaf Compost

Leaf Compost 100% ground leaves from various trees.  It is used in several of our custom mixes. Can be used as mulch, but it is better used for a soil amendment.

How much is one cubic yard?

Coverage: One cubic yard of the leaf compost covers an area of 9 x 12 at three inches deep.

Weight: 1 cubic yard of the leaf compost weighs approximately 500-600 pounds. Most standard pick-up trucks (ex. F150) or single axle, 5x8, trailer can hold two yards.

Common Uses:

-Soil Amendment

-Compost

-Mulch

Recommendations:

When using as a soil amendment, you should aim for the leaf compost to make up ⅓ of your total mix.
