The soil booster is a premixed blend of leaf compost and food waste. The soil booster is featured in several of our custom blends and is also sold separately.
How much is One Cubic yard?
Coverage: One cubic yard of the Soil Booster covers an area 9 x 12 three inches deep.
Weight: 1 cubic yard of the soil booster weighs approximately 800-1,000 pounds. Most standard pick-up trucks (i.e. F150) or single axle 5x8 trailer can hold 2 yards because of the weight.
Common Uses:
-Soil Amendment Nutrients for plants, shrubs, grass and trees.
-To help hold 30-50% more moisture in a planting area
-Substitute for cow manure
Recommendations:
If you are using the soil booster as a top dressing for grass, we recommend you only ½ inch to 1 inch lightly spread over the existing grass.
