Tree Mulch

The tree mulch is a mixture of limbs, leaves and pine straw from various trees that have been shredded. The mulch is typically aged which gives it a darker color. This mulch is very coarse. Due to the size of the mulch we do not recommend it be used near any wooden structures because it could give termites a foothold.

Typically, this mulch is used in natural areas, trails, or areas where the mulch is away from the home.

How much is one cubic yard?

Coverage: One cubic yard of the tree mulch covers an area of 9 x 12 at three inches deep.

Weight: 1 cubic yard of the tree mulch weighs approximately 500-600 pounds. Most standard pick-up trucks (ex. F150) or single axle, 5x8, trailer can hold two yards.

Common Uses:

-Mulch

-Mulch Nature paths

-Natural areas

Recommendations:

When using this mulch around plants to keep in moisture and keep weed growth down, initial layers should be 3-4 inches deep.

We will be CLOSED for Memorial Day

on May 26th, 2025

As we take time off to be with our families, we remember those that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

We pray their families find peace and that our nation always shows deep gratitude.
